Tag Import and Export Wizard

How do I open the Tag Import and Export Wizard?
Use one of the following methods:
  • From Windows
    Start
    menu on the development system, select
    All apps > Rockwell Software > Tag Import and Export Wizard
    .
  • In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , from the
    Tools
    menu, select
    Tag Import and Export Wizard
    .
Use the Tag Import and Export Wizard to:
  • Convert databases to and from a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) format compatible with Excel.
  • Export the default client tags and import the customized tags.
  • Merge one
    FactoryTalk View
     tag database with another.
  • Import an A.I.Series file, a Logic 5 text database file, or an RSLogix5/500 Address and Symbol ASCII file.
    TIP:
    The applications you select must be created on
    FactoryTalk View
     6.10 or later, or already converted to
    FactoryTalk View
     6.10 or later, otherwise the import, export, or merging processes will not succeed.
    Because ODBC data source names must be unique, project names on any given computer must be unique.
