Base and Extended Tokens

  • Feature tokens function as a unit of currency and accumulate as you configure more features in an application. Each feature has either a base or an extended token value, and some features are free with a token value of zero. Basic features are covered using base feature tokens, while more advanced features are covered using extended feature tokens.
  • See Runtime Entitlement Sizing Guide for basic guidance to estimate the number of feature tokens that you need, per the desired feature.
  • Access the Runtime Sizing calculator in the
    FactoryTalk® Optix™
landing page to calculate a more accurate token package according to your specific needs. See Runtime sizing tool for how to access the calculator and Runtime Sizing Online Help for how to use the calculator.
