Licensing
Use this field to assign
FactoryTalk Historian
licenses to FactoryTalk Historian
components. A FactoryTalk Historian
server must be licensed before it can collect data points (tags) from a data server. This field displays the number and types of licenses (activations) available on the FactoryTalk® Activation Manager
server.
TIP:
You must be a FactoryTalk administrator to change the server properties. After you change
a license, it takes up to 20 minutes until the licenses are propagated to the server.
The following table shows the options under

If both copies are assigned to the server, it can collect up to 1000 data points (500 data points from each of the FTLD.500 licenses). If you want to assign a license, enter the number in the column. |
