Known Anomalies
The list identifies the known anomalies in FactoryTalk Energy Manager.
TIP:
Use the identification information in the parentheses to track anomalies in future releases or for reference when receiving assistance from Customer Support with a related issue.
- Electricity Demand Chart Displays Repeated Zero Values on the Y-axis: The Electricity Demand chart can display 0 for all Y-axis labels instead of proper decimal values (for example: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) as the Y-axis labels do not reflect the decimal places. As a result, the chart Y-axis becomes unreadable, making it difficult to interpret demand trends.
- A new Measurement and Verification (M&V) Project May Use an Outdated Baseline Model After a Site Time Zone Change: After a site time zone change, users can create a new Measurement and Verification (M&V) project without first recalculating the baseline model, provided no completed Measurement and Verification (M&V) project exists for the site. The baseline recalculation warning is displayed only for completed projects. As a result, a newly created Measurement and Verification (M&V) project may use baseline data generated prior to the time zone update, potentially leading to inaccurate calculations or reporting.Workaround: Users should recalculate and update the baseline model after a site time zone change before creating a new Measurement and Verification (M&V) project.
- Sankey Diagram Does Not Display Connection Lines for a Single Meter: On the Distribution tab, the Sankey diagram under Resource Distribution does not display connected lines when a site has only a single meter configured. Instead, the chart shows "No data to display".
- Intermittent Null Values in Demand Data [5615626]: Demand data in widget downloads and report charts shows null values in the final stage, causing incorrect demand patterns in the displayed and exported data.
- Incorrect Consumption Calculation for Custom Time Selection [5198275]: When the user selects a custom time greater than 24 hours, the dashboard calculates incorrect consumption values.
- Distribution Sankey Diagram Does Not Support Work Unit Level Hierarchy [5577964]: Consumption data is not visible at the Work Unit level in the Distribution tab Sankey diagram. The application is expected to display Resources and Utilities based on their specific units of consumption, along with corresponding values and units in the Distribution widget tooltip across Site, Area, Work Center, and Work Unit hierarchy levels. However, the Sankey diagram currently supports visualization only up to the Work Center level.
- Recalculation Indicator Appears for All M&V Projects Without Actual Updates [5576903]: The application displays a blue recalculation indicator beside an M&V project when site configuration or baseline model changes trigger a backend recalculation for that project, regardless of whether the project is associated with the updated resource. Although the recalculation occurs only for the relevant project and the data for others remains correct, the recalculate flag and UI indicator are incorrectly applied to all projects under the site.
- Time Zone and Currency Configuration Lists Do Not Support Search: The application does not provide a search option in the Time Zone and Currency lists while configuring an Enterprise, Region, or Site. Users must manually browse the available values to find and select the required time zone or currency.
- Virtual Meter Values Not Included in Distribution Sankey Diagram Aggregation [5581444]: The Distribution tab Sankey diagram displays energy or consumption values by considering only individual physical meters and does not include Virtual Meter values. This behavior causes incorrect total energy or consumption representation and results in a mismatch between the Distribution tab Sankey diagram and the aggregated resource totals shown in other views.
- Incomplete Demand Data in Downloaded Reports with "Year" Time Scope [5036415]: When generating and downloading a report with theTime Scopeset toYearand theReport Typeset toConsumption & Demand, theDemandchart in the downloaded report may not include all data that is visible on the dashboard for the same time period.
- M&V Savings Summary [4923143]: Cost and emissions savings calculations do not account for intra-day schedule changes.
- Inconsistent Error Messages in Consumption Widgets: The application displays inconsistent error messages across consumption widgets and applicable hierarchy levels when differentiating between tags mapped with no data and tags with data present only at certain intervals. The summary widget may display an error message, while other widgets do not.
