Starter configuration

The Starter view displays the configuration parameters for a Non-Reversing starter or a Reversing starter. The configuration parameters displayed on this screen will change depending on the selected device type.

View header

The view header displays name of view.

Auxiliary Contact column

The control in Auxiliary Contact column configures the contact type for auxiliary contacts using the Contact type drop-down menu. The contact type available depends on the device type:

Interlock column

The controls in the Interlock column configure the Interlock type for the interlock input signal using the Interlock Type drop-down menu.

WARNING:
Changing the auxiliary contact setting from Normally Open (NO) to Normally Closed (NC) alters the PLC logical data, causing the opposite behavior. Devices or systems that expect the circuit to be off when de-energized (NO) may inadvertently power on which can lead to unsafe conditions.  This circuit would be on during normal operation.
