Fault/Program Action view

The Fault/Program Action view is used to define the device states when the controller goes to the Program Mode or a communication fault occurs.
TIP:
  • Output state during Program mode
     configuration defines the Starter/Contactor mode and Starter/Contactor state when the controller is put into program mode.
  • Output state during Fault mode
     configuration defines the Starter/Contactor mode and Starter/Contactor state when a communication fault has occurred for the device.

Fault mode output final state duration
Configures the time for which the device will be in Fault state. When this duration elapses the device will enter into fault final state.
Mode when connection fails in program mode
Configures the state the device will transit, when the controller transits from Program mode to Fault mode.

Controlled by is set to Controller, Controller/Peer 2-wire, or Controller/Peer 3-Wire

Configures the starter mode state in program mode, if applicable.
Configures the starter mode state if communication fault has occurred.
Configures the starter mode state when Fault mode output final state duration is elapsed.

Configures the starter state when Fault mode output final state duration is elapsed.
Fault mode output final state duration:
  • Forever
  • 1 Second
  • 2 Second
  • 5 Second
  • 10 Second
Mode when Connection Fails in Program Mode:
  • Program Mode (default)
  • Fault Mode
This control configures to which state device transits when the controller transits from Program mode to Fault mode. These settings are applicable if Controlled by is set to Controller/Peer 2-Wire mode or Controller/Peer 3-Wire mode.

Controlled by is set to Peer 2-wire or Peer 3-Wire
