Configure Peer Commands
Peer commands are configured in a Commands Configuration wizard.
To configure peer commands
- ClickAddif no commands are configured, or clickEditicon
if commands are already configured.The Peer Commands dialog appears. It shows all mandatory and optional peer commands under the Select command in the peer command configuration wizard. - Select thePeerdevice.Any Rockwell Ethernet/IP in-cabinet device may be selected as a Peer. The Peer device has to be added first to the I/O Configuration. The displayed commands available will depend on the Peer device selection.Only devices in the same bus and under the same parent device of the Project Topology can be selected.
- Select theTriggercondition, which controls if the device will know if the selected mode/function should be activated, based on the Trigger parameters.TIP:Trigger conditions are be indicated in the Peer command view as follows:Trigger conditionsSetting for Trigger condition on Peer command configuration wizard viewTable column Trigger Condition on Peer command viewAll of selected source states are trueAll trueOne or more of the source states are trueAny trueNone of the selected source states are trueNone true
- Select theTriggerparameters.
- ThePeer StatusandPeer Warningselections vary, depending on the device selected and the Controlled by setting.
- TheEnable Off Peer Commandselects if theOffcommand is to be configured. Off command refers to a switch input for HOA.
- ClickNext.
- Configure the remaining device parameters in the Peer communication settings.ParametersPeer CommandDescriptionValuesRevisionDrop-down list to select major and minor revisions.Only values associated with the peer device are shown.Data rateSpinner control to set the data rate.20.0 ms to 1000.0 ms.Electronic keyingDrop-down list.

- Disable Keying
- Exact Match without Revision.
- Repeat steps 2 to 6 for each command.
