view for input devices includes these parameters:
TIP:
These parameters are not available in Run mode.
Parameter
Description
Channel
Displays the channel number to which this configuration applies.
Input Type
Indicates the Current Input type.
Input Range
Specifies the current range as 4–20 mA (default) or 0–20 mA.
High Signal
Displays the high signal value.
Low Signal
Displays the low signal value.
Units (Signal)
Shows the unit of measurement for
High Signal
and
Low Signal
.
High Engineering
Choose the appropriate scaling high units. Set the value between -32768 and 32767. The default is 16383.
Low Engineering
Choose the appropriate scaling low units. Set the value between -32768 and 32767. The default is 3277.
Units (Engineering)
Shows the unit of measurement for
High Engineering
and
Low Engineering
and for the channel’s input value.
Digital Filter
Specifies the desired filter time constant, in milliseconds (ms). Set the value between 0 (default) and 10,000.
Disable Alarms
Determines whether process alarms are generated.
  • If selected, the device does not generate process alarms.
  • If cleared, the device generates process alarms.
Real Time Sample (RTS)
Choose the real time sample period.
The valid range depends on the Notch Filter value chosen. Refer to
Notch Filter
for this value.
The default value is 100.
Notch Filter
Choose the desired filter frequency for the device.
The available values are:
  • 60 Hz (default)
  • 50 Hz
  • 100 Hz
  • 120 Hz
  • 200 Hz
  • 240 Hz
  • 300 Hz
  • 400 Hz
  • 480 Hz
The minimum and maximum RTS values allowed for Notch Filter are:
  • 60 Hz (0): 67–10,000 ms
  • 50 Hz (1): 80–10,000 ms
  • 100 Hz (2): 40–10,000 ms
  • 120 Hz (3): 32–10,000 ms
  • 200 Hz (4): 20–10,000 ms
