Transmit Data view parameters

The
Transmit Data
view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Termination Mode
Set the channel’s termination mode for transmit data. Valid values are:
  • Ignore Delimiter
  • Exclude Delimiter
  • Include Delimiter
    (default)
Termination Delimiter
Set the channel’s terminator delimiter for transmit data using any valid ASCII character. Valid values are:
  • $$ (Dollar Sign, $24)
  • $‘ (Single Quote, $27)
  • $L (Line Feed, $0A)
  • $P (Form Feed, $0C)
  • $R (Carriage Return, $0D)
  • $T (Tab, $09)
  • User Defined Value
    If this option is selected, the
    User Defined Value
    field appears, allowing users to manually enter a character.
Termination Delimiter
is only available when
Termination Mode
is set to
Exclude Delimiter
or
Include Delimiter
.
User Defined Value
Specifies a user-defined value for the termination delimiter.
If no value is entered in
User Defined Value
, the termination delimiter is set to
Nul
. For the supported

values and the corresponding configuration tag values, see Supported User Defined Value values.
Byte Swap Mode
Set to swap bytes with other machines or disable the byte swap mode. Valid values are:
  • Disabled
    (default)
  • 16 – bit
  • 24 – bit
  • 32 – bit
Handshake Mode
Sets the handshake mode as
Master/Slave
(default) or
Immediate
.
