Receive Data view parameters

The
Receive Data
 view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Start Mode
Sets the channel’s start mode. Valid values are:
  • Ignore Delimiter
     (default)
  • Exclude Delimiter
  • Include Delimiter
Start Delimiter
Sets the channel’s start delimiter using any valid ASCII characters. Valid values are:
  • $$ (Dollar Sign, $24)
  • $‘ (Single Quote, $27)
  • $L (Line Feed, $0A)
  • $P (Form Feed, $0C)
  • $R (Carriage Return, $0D)
  • $T (Tab, $09)
  • User Defined Value
    If this option is selected, the
    User Defined Value
     field appears, allowing users to manually enter a character.

 is only available when
Start Mode
 is set to
Exclude Delimiter
 or
Include Delimiter
.
User Defined Value
Specifies a user-defined value for the start delimiter.
If no value is entered in
User Defined Value
, the start delimiter is set to
Nul

Termination Mode
Sets the channel’s termination mode for receive data. Valid values are:
  • Ignore Delimiter
  • Exclude Delimiter
  • Include Delimiter
     (default)
Termination Delimiter
Sets the channel’s terminator delimiter for receive data using any valid ASCII characters. Valid values are:
  • $$ (Dollar Sign, $24)
  • $‘ (Single Quote, $27)
  • $L (Line Feed, $0A)
  • $P (Form Feed, $0C)
  • $R (Carriage Return, $0D)
  • $T (Tab, $09)
  • User Defined Value
    If this option is selected, the

Byte Swap Mode
Sets to swap bytes with other machines or disable the byte swap mode. Valid values are:
  • Disabled
     (default)
  • 16 – bit
  • 24 – bit
  • 32 – bit
Handshake Mode
Sets the handshake mode as
Master/Slave
 or
Immediate
 (default).
Pad Mode
Enables or disables the pad mode. The default value is
Enabled
.
Pad Character
Sets the pad character for receive data using any valid ASCII characters. Valid values are:
  • $$ (Dollar Sign, $24)
  • $‘ (Single Quote, $27)
  • $L (Line Feed, $0A)
  • $P (Form Feed, $0C)
  • $R (Carriage Return, $0D)
  • $T (Tab, $09)
