Channels view parameters (output devices)

The
Channels
view for output devices includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Channel
Displays the channel number to which this configuration applies.
Output Type
Indicates the output type. Available values are:
  • Current
  • Voltage
Output Range
Choose the output range for the channel.
  • The valid values for current are 4–20 mA (default) and 0–20 mA.
  • The valid values for voltage are 0–10V (default) and -10–10V.
Output Range
is only disabled in Run mode.
Output State During
Program Mode
Choose the program mode. Available values are:
  • Hold Last State
  • Go to Low Clamp (default)
  • Go to High Clamp
  • User Defined Value
Output State During
Fault Mode
Choose the fault mode. Available values are:
  • Hold Last State
  • Go to Low Clamp (default)
  • Go to High Clamp
  • User Defined Value
High Signal
Displays the high signal value.
Low Signal
Displays the low signal value.
Units (Signal)
Shows the unit of measurement for
High Signal
and
Low Signal
.
High Engineering
Indicates the appropriate scaling high units. Set the value between -32768 and 32767.
  • The default value for current is 8191.
  • The default value for voltage is 10,000.
High Engineering
is only disabled in Run mode.
Low Engineering
Indicates the appropriate scaling low units. Set the value between -32768 and 32767.
  • The default value for current is 1638.
  • The default value for voltage is 0.
Low Engineering
is only disabled in Run mode.

Shows the unit of measurement for
