Calibration view parameters (input devices)

The
Calibration
 view for input devices includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Channel
Displays the channel number to which this configuration applies.
Calibration Range (Voltage and Current)
Displays the calibration range:
  • 4 mA to 20 mA
     (Current devices)
  • 0 V to 10 V
     (Voltage devices)
Calibrate Range
 is enabled in Run mode and is only available while online.
Calibration Range (RTD and Thermocouple)
Displays the calibration points.
For RTD devices, the calibration point is:
  • 100 ohms to 500 ohms
     (1734-IR2)
  • 100 ohms to 200 ohms
     (1734-IR2E)
For thermocouple devices, the calibration point is:
  • 0 mV to 70 mV
     (Input calibration)
  • 1000 ohms to 3000 ohms
     (Cold Junction calibration).
Calibrate Range
 is enabled in Run mode and it is only available while online.
Calibration Status
Shows the status of the calibration per channel as the calibration occurs. Valid values include:
  • OK
  • Error
Start Calibration
Select to start the calibration process.
Start Calibration
 is available in Run mode.
