Device Information view parameters
TIP:
No online data displays when the device is being created or in the offline mode.
The available parameters and values depend on the device being
configured. Parameters and values that do not apply to the device are hidden.

Status Internal State | Displays the device's current operational state. Possible values include:

Status Configured | Displays Yes or No indicating whether
the device was configured by the owner-controller connected to it.Once a device is configured, it stays configured until the device is reset or power
is cycled, even if the owner drops connection to the device. This configuration applies only to I/O devices and does not apply to adapters,
scanners, bridges, or other communication devices. |
Status Owned | Displays Yes or No indicating whether
an owner-controller is currently connected to the device. This configuration applies only to I/O devices and does not apply to adapters,
scanners, bridges, or other communication devices. |
Status Device identity | Displays whether the physical device matches or mismatches with the configuration
in the Overview view.
The device identity does not consider the electronic keying or minor revision
parameters in the Overview view. |
Status Protected mode | Displays whether the device is in Protected mode. Protected mode helps prevent
unauthorized configuration changes that can affect system behavior and cause
unintended and unforeseen changes. |
Diagnostics | Opens the diagnostic dialog box to monitor device diagnostics information. |
Refresh | Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device. |
Reset device | Initiates a reset operation on the device, which returns the device to its power-up
state by emulating the cycling of power. IMPORTANT: Resetting a device closes all connections to or through the device,
which may result in loss of control. Tip: Some devices may return an error if a reset is attempted. |
