Device Diagnostics dialog box parameters
Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
Run mode | Shows the operating state for the device. Run mode is blank when the device is
offline, or when the connection is not established to the device. | Idle Run |
Diagnostics thresholds exceeded | Shows whether any diagnostics are active or a threshold has been reached when the
event occurred. | No = No diagnostics active Yes = One or more diagnostic thresholds reached |
Diagnostics sequence count | Shows the count for each time a distinct diagnostic condition was detected, and
also each time a distinct diagnostic condition transitioned from detected to not
detected. | 0 to 255 |
Self test | Shows whether the product initialization code detected an error. | Passed Failed |
CPU utilization | Shows the usage of the compute engine. | 0% to 100% |
Connections | Shows the number of CIP connections currently open to and through the adapter. | 0 to 32767 |
Packets lost | Shows the running sum of the number of Sequenced Address Item Sequence Numbers that
are skipped in Class 0 and Class 1 connections consumed by the adapter and its
children. | 0 to 2147483647 |
Timeouts | Shows the running count of the number of connections that time out, both originated
and targeted, to and through the adapter. | 0 to 2147483647 |
HMI packet rate | Shows the rate at which the HMI sent data. The number of Class 3 packets and unconnected packets sent and received by the
device in the previous second. | 0 to 2147483647 |
IO packet rate | Shows the rate at which the I/O sent data. The number of Class 0 and Class 1 packets that were transmitted or received by the
adapter in the previous second. | 0 to 2147483647 |
Ethernet errors | Shows the sum over all ports of these Ethernet Link object values:
| 0 to 2147483647 |
Time Synchronization Status | Shows whether the device is currently synchronized with a 1588 master. | Not Synchronized = Not synchronized with a 1588 master Synchronized = Synchronized with a 1588 master |
Time Synchronization Grand master clock identity | Shows the identity of the Grand Master clock to which the device is synced. | 8-byte hex number |
Time Synchronization Local clock offset to system time | Shows the offset, in nanoseconds, from the local clock to the system time. Use this value to detect steps in time. This value updates when a Precision Time
Protocol (PTP) update message is received. | -9223372036854775808 to 9223372036854775807 |
Time Synchronization Local clock offset timestamp | Shows the timestamp of the local clock offset in
YYYY -MM -DD -HH :mm :SS .mmm
format.
| A valid time or None if no event time is recorded. |
Device Fault Internal fault | Shows whether one or more of several internal diagnostics indicate an internal
issue in the product. | Yes = One or more of several internal diagnostics indicate an internal issue in the
product. No = No internal issue found in the product. |
Device Fault Internal fault timestamp | Shows the time when an Internal Fault condition most recently transitioned from
false to true. | A valid time or None if no event time is recorded. |
Device Fault SA power fault | Shows whether the product has an SA power fault present. | Present = An SA power fault is present in the product. Not Present = No SA power fault is present in the product. |
Device Fault SA power fault timestamp | Shows the time when an SA Power Fault condition most recently transitioned from
false to true. | A valid time or None if no event time is recorded. |
Device Fault LA power fault | Shows whether the product has an LA power fault present. | Present = An LA power fault is present in the product. Not Present = No LA power fault is present in the product. |
Device Fault LA power fault timestamp | Shows the time when an LA Power Fault condition most recently transitioned from
false to true. | A valid time or None if no event time is recorded. |
