EDS file does not match registered file version

The device properties for the device you attempted to launch do not match the EDS file used to create that device instance and the file currently on your computer. For example, a value in the current configuration is not within the valid possible range in the EDS file. This error occurs when:
  • The device instance was created using a different EDS file than the registered EDS file version for that device.
  • The configuration data for the device instance is licensed, but the registered EDS file is not licensed.
To resolve this condition:
  1. Use the EDS Wizard to unregister the EDS file that currently resides on your computer, and then register the EDS file version used to initially create the device instance.
  2. Right-click and select
    Register EDS File
    to launch the EDS Wizard.
  3. Delete the existing device instance and recreate it using the EDS file for the selected device that is currently registered on your computer.
