Overview
The Rockwell Automation PowerFlex 6000T medium voltage drive, which is based on the voltage source inverter (VSI) topology, includes motor control features such as Volt/Hz control, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), and Flux Vector (FV) control. These control features can be tuned to provide smooth motor starting and high-performance control for the medium voltage (MV) motors in heavy industry applications, as well providing additional energy savings. In this webinar, we will present the current challenges that heavy-industry applications presents today, performance comparisons, analysis of MV motor dyne system in a manufacturing test facility, some end-user result achievements, and to conclude, we will share the recommendations suggested related to this kind of implementation.
