Edit Function Block routine properties

Use the
Routine Properties
 dialog box to edit function block routine properties.
To edit function block routine properties:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , right-click the routine and select
    Properties
     to open the
    Routine Properties
     dialog box.
  2. In the
    Name
     box, type a name for the function block routine.
  3. In the
    Description
     box, enter a description of the routine.
  4. To change the layout of sheets in the routine, click the
    Sheet Layout
     tab.
  5. To apply a set of permissions to the routine, select a
    Permission Set
    . The permission set controls access to the routine based on the permissions configured in
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    . The default setting,
    <Controller Inherited>
    , applies the same security settings that have been applied to the controller or project.
  6. Click
    OK
    .
    TIP:
    The
    Sheet Layout
     tab only displays on the
    Routine Properties
     dialog box for unprotected sequence routines.
