Domain subfolders
can be managed by selected administrators and can be accessed by a restricted group of users. This is useful if you are collaborating with different vendors or if you are managing a variety of operations through FactoryTalk Remote Access Manager
.

To create a
domain subfolder
proceed as follows:- Log on toFactoryTalk Remote Access Managerwith an administrator user account.
- Access thesection.
- Select theAdd resource(circled plus) button andCreate folder.
- Add any user accounts for the administration of the newly created folder.
- Ensure that the admin user accounts haveAdminpermissions to the folder.
When a local contributor signs in to FactoryTalk Remote Access Manager, they will only be able to work with the domain subfolder that they have been granted permission to. They will not be able to see any other folders that were created by the domain administrator. However, within the folder they administer they will be able to add any groups, devices, and additional domain subfolders as necessary.
