A fundamental part of Industry 4.0 is the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). It uses smart connected assets that operate as part of manufacturing enterprises to monitor, collect, exchange, analyze, and act upon the information and its behavior.

We use a Micro800; A scalable and cost-effective controller to monitor electric energy quality, publish the data using an MQTT Broker and subscribe to a topic in ThingWorx.

This solution can be implemented to take real time data, make trends, and generate alarms to prevent undesirable situations. Even though this application has been implemented in a lab environment, the main idea is to spread solutions that can apply to different industries.

  • Micro800 offers the possibility to connect devices in different manufacturing sectors through IIoT.
  • Micro800 offers a scalable and cost-effective micro control solution. In addition, the software used to configure it and the sample code is free as well as its technical remote support.
  • Thingworx not only can be used to connect and visualize data, but we can also integrate AI to helps us analyze it, and it can be used in each step of the digital transformation.
