Our PowerFlex® 755T drives are designed to provide harmonic mitigation, regeneration, and common bus solutions that help reduce energy costs, add flexibility, and increase productivity. These are the first drives to offer TotalFORCE® technology which uses several patented features to help optimize your system.
What's New?
Expand predictive maintenance to your plant
By combining FactoryTalk® Analytics™ GuardianAI™ software with PowerFlex 755TL, TR and TM VFDs, you can get an unprecedented view into the health of your plant assets.
This solution continuously monitors variable frequency drives and plant assets and alerts you to problems before they occur, giving you more time to plan and act. With actionable insights, you can reduce risk, optimize maintenance plans and keep applications running more reliably.
Monitor VFD health
- Calculate the expected life of critical drive components based on actual use and environment
- Project the remaining life span of fans, transformers, air filters and more
- See component runtime hours for power cells, fans and temperatures out of normal operating range
Monitor plant assets
- Analyze live electrical signal data from your existing PowerFlex VFDs, at high speeds right at the edge without the overhead of cloud infrastructure
- Predict and identify failures of your pump, fan or blower
- Get notifications of flow restrictions, cavitation, loose mounting, blade misalignments, bearing faults, and so on
Conserve space with new liquid cooled option
Now available for PowerFlex 755TR drives (300 HP/223 kW), liquid cooling is a great choice for applications with readily accessible chillers. Heat dissipation is redirected outside of the drive enclosure or control room, through the liquid cooling loops, reducing air conditioning requirements.
Integrated motion now available
Reduce complexity and save engineering time by using Studio 5000® software to program integrated motion commands with PowerFlex® 755T-series VFDs and induction motors. Simplify integration using one software package with common instructions for both PowerFlex® VFDs and Kinetix® servo drives. Watch this video to learn more.

Available Safety Options
- Hardwired Safe Torque Off is designed for safety-related applications that benefit from removal of rotational power from the drive. This functionality offers the benefit of quick startup after a demand on the safety system. SIL3, PLe, CAT 3
- Safe Torque Off option is available as a networked or hardwired solution, both certified at SIL 3, PLe, Cat 3. This option removes rotational power to the motor without removing power from the drive for faster startup after a demand on the safety system.
- Safe Speed Monitor option is certified at SIL 3, PLe, Cat 4. This option allows you to safely monitor and control the speed of your application. This allows operators to perform some process or maintenance work without stopping the machine.
- The integrated safety functions option module provides advanced safety on an EtherNet/IP network. Safety instructions are based on IEC 61800-5-2 and include the ability to monitor speed, direction and position. When used as part of an integrated safety system that includes a GuardLogix® 5580ES controller or Compact GuardLogix 5380ES controller, the integrated safety functions option module provides safety ratings up to and including SIL CL3 and PLe Cat 4. Studio 5000 Logix Designer® application version 31 or later is also required.
