Select a target controller

Select a controller to use as the communications path when going online, uploading, downloading, or opening a project. The current path appears in the
Network Browser
 dialog.
To select a target controller
  1. Select
    Communications > Network Browser
    .
  2. In the
    Network Browser
     dialog tree view, select the controller to use as the target device.
    TIP: If the device does not appear in the tree view, enter a communications driver and path manually. See Enter a communications driver and path manually.
  3. Select
    Go Online, Upload,
    or
    Download
    .
  4. Save the communications path:
    • To save the communications path as the current path, click
      Apply
      .
    • To save the current path to the open project file, select the
      Apply to Current Project
       box and then select
      Apply.
