Network Browser dialog

The
Network Browser
dialog displays network topologies and contains configuration options for FactoryTalk Linx software which supports communication with devices. FactoryTalk Linx communication software is included with the Logix Designer application.
Use the
Network Browser
 dialog to perform the following tasks:
TIP: To open the
Network Browser
 dialog:
  • Select
    Communications > Network Browser
    .
  • Navigate network topologies
  • Select, modify, or clear the path that
    Logix Designer
     uses when a
    Go Online
    ,
    Upload
    , or
    Download
     command is initiated.
  • Download a project from
    Logix Designer
     to a controller
  • Upload a project from a controller to
    Logix Designer
  • Update firmware to a controller
