Module Properties - RSNetWorx for EtherNet/IP

Use this tab to:
  • launch RSNetWorx for EtherNet/IP to view and/or edit the respective network
  • associate a EtherNet/IP project file with the respective module
  • audit an EtherNet/IP network
Parameters
EtherNet/IP File (.enet)
Displays the name of the EtherNet/IP file you want to associate with the module. By default, this field is blank.
Browse
Click this button to search for the file you want to associate with the module.
Found In
Displays the location where the network file was found. If no file was found, this field does not appear on the dialog.
LaunchRSNetWorxButton Launch RSNetWorx for EtherNet/IP button
Click this button to launch RSNetWorx for EtherNet/IP, from which you can:
  • view and/or edit the network
  • audit an EtherNet/IP network
For EtherNet/IP networks, this button is not enabled until:
  • you have specified an EtherNet/IP project file, and
  • you have specified an IP address or host name for the EtherNet/IP scanner
You must also apply any pending edits before you can launch RSNetWorx.
Status
Displays the status the controller has about the module:
This status:
Indicates:
Standby
a transient state that occurs when shutting down
Faulted
the controller is unable to communicate with the module
When the status is Faulted, the Connection tab displays the fault.
Validating
a transient state that occurs before connecting to the module
Connecting
a state that occurs while the connection(s) are being established to the module
Running
the module is communicating and everything is working as expected
Shutting Down
the connections are closing
Inhibited
the connection to the module is inhibited
Waiting
a connection to this module has not yet been made due to one of the following:
  • its parent has not yet made a connection to it
  • its parent is inhibited
  • its parent is faulted
Offline
you are not online
OK
Click this button to accept your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Cancel
Click this button to cancel your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Apply
Click this button to apply your edits on any tab and continue editing.
