Enabling redundancy sets safety task priority to 1
Enabling redundancy affects the priority of the safety task:
  • When you create a GuardLogix® 5580 project with redundancy enabled, the Safety task is created with priority 1.
  • When you enable redundancy for a safety controller from the Controller properties dialog, the Safety task priority changes to 1.
  • When you morph a redundant Standard project to a 1756-L84ES Safety project, the Safety Task is created with priority 1.
No longer supporting the Emulate 5570 and other controllers with serial ports
This version of the Logix Designer application no longer supports controllers with serial ports:
  • The Emulate 5570 controller is no longer included as a controller option.
  • The ASCII Serial Port instructions are not supported and cannot be added to a routine.
  • The serial port is not included in the Controller Properties dialog.

attribute converts legacy mnemonics to standard
