String input object at runtime

At runtime, a string input object allows a user with display write permissions to enter a string. The string is written to a tag in an external device or tag database, as designed in

TIP:
If the graphic display is set up to use the on-screen keyboard, pressing
Enter
 brings up the on-screen keyboard.
On mobile operating systems,
Windows
 10, and
Windows Server
 2019 operating systems, the device keyboard appears automatically when a string input object is selected.
