Eg: tag placeholders in commands

For the following examples assume that the HMI project contains the following tag references with the following values:

Tag1 = 1 Tag4="Screen2"

Tag2 = 2 Tag5="Display"

Tag3 = 3

The following commands are run from a command line.

Example 1

Display Screen$Tag1$

Result: Replaces $Tag1$ with the tag's value "1", then runs the command,

Display Screen1

Example 2

Display $Tag4$

Result: Replaces $Tag4$ with the tag's value "Screen2", then runs the command,

Display Screen2

Example 3

Set Machine$Tag1$.Motor$Tag2$ $Tag3$

Result: Replaces $Tag1$ with the tag's value "1", replaces $Tag2$ with the tag's value "2", and replaces $Tag3$ with the tag's value "3", and then runs the command,

Set Machine1.Motor2 3

Example 4

Display "Screen$Tag1$"

Result: Command subsystem runs following command (because the quotes indicate a component whose name contains dollar signs),

Display Screen$Tag1$

Example 5

$Tag5$ $Tag4$

Result: Replaces $Tag5$ with "Display" and $Tag4$ with "Screen2" and then runs the command,

Display Screen2
