Send Invites

Operations Hub provides you with the ability to invite others to participate in your organization or sub-organization from the Send Invites screen.
The Send Invites option on the Hub menu allows you to:
  • Send emails to your teammates to join your organization or sub-organization These invites expire after five days.
  • Join organization or sub-organization link. Select copy in the Join Link section of the page. When you use this method you set access levels for your users as you receive the requests for approval.
  • See a history of the invitations you have sent and their status.
To send an Invitation to join your organization through email :
  1. From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, select
    Organizations
     or
    Sub-organizations
    .
  2. From the list, select the organization or sub-organization you want to send invitations for.
  3. From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, select
    Send Invites
    .
  4. On the Send Invites screen choose a resource and a role for the new User.
  5. Enter the user’s email address into the text field. Use a semicolon to separate multiple email addresses.
  6. Select
    Send Invites
     to send an email invite to the specified users .
To share a join request link:
  1. On the Send Invites screen select
    Copy
     in the
    Join organization link
     or
    Join sub-organization link
     section of the page.
  2. Share the copied link by email or in an approved messaging app such as Microsoft Teams.
  3. When your teammate responds, set their access levels when approving the request.
Invite History
The Invite History table allows you to see and sort which emails were sent invitations, the dates they were sent and the resource and roles that were assigned. You can see the status of each invitation at a glance. You can also resend the invitations or delete them from the
Actions
 column.
