Create a rules file

Prompt the AI Agent to create a rules file based on the project or the uploaded design assets. When creating a rules file from the project, the AI Agent populates each section using known project information. This information can include tag naming patterns, controllers, devices, programs, routines, and Add-On-Instructions.
  1. In the
    AI Agent
     explorer, select
    AI Agent session
    .
  2. In
    AI Agent Session
    , do one of the following:
    • To create a rules file from the project, prompt
      Create a rules file for this project.
       in Plan or Build mode.
      TIP: You can also describe the standards to enforce and ask the AI Agent to include them in the rules file. For example:
      Always use Ladder
      ,
      Every tag starts with the area code
      , or
      Never use OTL/OTU
      .
    • To create a rules file from the uploaded design assets, prompt the AI Agent to use one or more uploaded assets. For example,
      Create a rules file using the standards from the control narrative PDF and the I/O list.
  3. Review the generated
    rules.md
     file and ask the AI Agent to revise it if needed.
