Windows®

service, which means that the

FactoryTalk Batch

Server can be configured to start automatically and that control of the

FactoryTalk Batch

Server can be given to the

Windows®

Service Manager. Because the

FactoryTalk Batch

Server runs as a service, it does not require an operator to log on to run. Therefore, logging on or off Windows during operation does not disrupt the performance of the

FactoryTalk Batch

Server.
