If you do not want
FactoryTalk® Batch
Archiver
to do batch reporting, select a no archiving option.To perform no
archiving
- OpenFactoryTalk® Administration Consoleand sign in to theFactoryTalkNetwork Directory.
- InFactoryTalk Administration ConsoleExplorer, do one of the following:
- For a newFactoryTalk BatchServer, right-click the application or the area name and select .
- For an existingFactoryTalk BatchServer, expand the application or the area name, right-click the server, and selectProperties.
- In theFactoryTalk Batch Services Propertiesdialog, select theBatch Reportingtab.
- In theArchive methoddropdown list, select an option:
- To disable batch reporting and archiving application, but keep a queue of unarchived event journal files, selectNo Archiving - Queue Maintained.
- To disable batch reporting and archiving application, andnotkeep a queue of unarchived event journal files, selectNo Archiving - No Queue.TIP: This is the default option. Do not use this option if you have a custom archiver.
- To save the data in theBatch Reportingtab, selectApply.
