Perform no archiving

If you do not want
FactoryTalk® Batch
Archiver to do batch reporting, select a no archiving option.
To perform no archiving
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk® Administration Console
    and sign in to the
    FactoryTalk
    Network Directory.
  2. In
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    Explorer
    , do one of the following:
    • For a new
      FactoryTalk Batch
      Server, right-click the application or the area name and select
      Add New Server
      FactoryTalk Batch Server
      .
    • For an existing
      FactoryTalk Batch
      Server, expand the application or the area name, right-click the server, and select
      Properties
      .
  3. In the
    FactoryTalk Batch Services Properties
    dialog, select the
    Batch Reporting
    tab.
  4. In the
    Archive method
    dropdown list, select an option:
    • To disable batch reporting and archiving application, but keep a queue of unarchived event journal files, select
      No Archiving - Queue Maintained
      .
    • To disable batch reporting and archiving application, and
      not
      keep a queue of unarchived event journal files, select
      No Archiving - No Queue
      .
      TIP: This is the default option. Do not use this option if you have a custom archiver.
  5. To save the data in the
    Batch Reporting
    tab, select
    Apply
    .

Normal
