Enable or disable archived events

The selected event types on the
Archived Events
 tab identify what electronic batch record data
FactoryTalk® Event Archiver
 writes to a SQL table in the
BatchHistoryEx
 database.
To enable or disable archived events
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
     and sign in to the
    FactoryTalk
     Network Directory.
  2. In
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    Explorer
    , do one of the following:
    • For a new
      FactoryTalk Batch
       Server, right-click the application or the area name and select
      Add New Server
      FactoryTalk Batch Server
      .
    • For an existing
      FactoryTalk Batch
       Server, expand the application or the area name, right-click the server, and select
      Properties
      .
  3. In the
    FactoryTalk Batch Services Properties
     dialog, select the
    Archived Events
     tab.
  4. To specify the event type data you want the
    FactoryTalk Event Archiver
     to collect, select or clear checkboxes next to specific event types.
  5. To save the data in the
    Archived Events
     tab, select
    Apply
    .
