The parameters on
Alarms
define the limits for device alarms.Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
Position - High limit | Sets the high limit of alarm counts. The valid values are from 0 through 1073741823. The default value is 1073741823. |
Position - Low limit | Set the low limit of alarm counts. The valid values are from 0 through 1073741823. The default value is 0. |
Velocity - High limit | Sets the high limit of velocity. The valid values are minimum velocity value of the encoder, reported in units defined by the VelocityUnits attribute to the maximum velocity value of the encoder, reported in units defined by VelocityUnits attribute. |
Velocity - Low limit | Sets the low limit of velocity. The valid values are minimum velocity value of the encoder, reported in units defined by the VelocityUnits attribute to the maximum velocity value of the encoder, reported in units defined by VelocityUnits attribute. |
Velocity - Hysteresis | Sets hysteresis for the velocity limits so alarms are less sensitive to fluctuations in velocity near the setpoint. The valid values are from 0 through MAX(ABS(Velocity Low Limit), ABS(Velocity High Limit)). |
Acceleration - High limit | Sets the high limit for acceleration. The valid values are from -2147483520 through 2147483520 and the value must be ≥ Acceleration Low Limit . |
Acceleration - Low limit | Sets the low limit for acceleration. The valid values are from -2147483520 through 2147483520 and the value must be ≤ Acceleration High Limit . The default value is 0. |
Acceleration - Hysteresis | Sets hysteresis for the acceleration limits so alarms are less sensitive to fluctuations in the acceleration near the setpoint. The valid values are from 0 through MAX(ABS(Acceleration Low Limit), ABS(Acceleration High Limit)). |
Temperature - Units | Selects the unit that temperature is reported in, and the unit the setpoints refer to. The valid values are:
|
Temperature - High limit | Sets the high limit for temperature. The valid values are based on the Temperature - Units selection and the value must be ≥ Temperature Low Limit . For 1200h, the values are from –40 through +100 °C. For 1201h, the valid values are from –40 through +212 °F. The default value is 100. |
Temperature - Low limit | Sets the low limit for temperature. The valid values are based on the Temperature - Units selection and the value must be ≤ Temperature High Limit . For 1200h, the values are from –40 through +100 °C. For 1201h, the valid values are from –40 through +212 °F. The default value is 100. |
