Points view parameters (5034-UB8)

The
Points
view includes these parameters for Disabled Points:
Parameter
Description
Disabled Points
Displays the points that have been disabled.
The
Points
view includes these parameters for Power Supply Points:
Parameter
Description
Power Supply Points
Displays the points that are configured as Power Supply.
The
Points
view includes these parameters for Digital Input Points:
Parameter
Description
Point
Displays the point number to which this configuration applies.
Mode
Displays the mode for the point.
Power Source
Defines the power source for the point.
  • Ptxx – Power is supplied to the sensor from point xx of this module, which is configured to function as a power supply.
If a short circuit is detected on the Power Supply point, the fault is rolled-up to the Digital Input point.
  • External – Power is supplied to the sensor from an external power supply.
  • SSV – Power is supplied to the sensor from the SSV terminal of this module.
If an SSV short circuit is detected, the fault is rolled-up to the Digital Input point.
Input Filter Time
Off → On
Defines how long an Off to On input transition must remain in the On state before the device considers the transition valid.
Input Filter Time
On → Off
Defines how long an On to Off input transition must remain in the Off state before the device considers the transition valid.
Counter Preset
Displays the value, set in the output tag Preset, to use for counter preset. The value can range from 0…2,147,483,647.
Counter Rollover at Preset
Determines the action that is taken when input tag Count reaches output tag Preset value.
  • If selected, the counter counts to the Preset value, rolls over to zero, and then sets the Rollover bit. The Done bit is not set.
  • If cleared, the counter counts to the Preset value and sets the Done bit, then continues counting up to the maximum DINT value. The Rollover is set when Count transitions from 2,147,483,647 to 0.
Diagnostics
Opens the Diagnostics dialog, which contains diagnostic information.
The
Points
view includes these parameters for Digital Output Points:
Parameter
Description
Point
Displays the point number to which this configuration applies.
Mode
Displays the mode for the point.
Output State During Program Mode
Determines the behavior of each output when the controller transitions to Program Mode or Inhibit mode. While in Program Mode or Inhibit mode, outputs from the controller are ignored and the output behaves as follows:
  • Off – Output is 0 or Off.
  • On – Output is 1 or On.
  • Hold – Output maintains the last state.
Output State During Communication Fault Mode
Determines what happens to the output of each point after a communication fault occurs and the module enters Communication Fault Mode.
  • Off – Output is 0 or Off.
  • On – Output is 1 or On.
  • Hold – Output maintains the current level.
Enable No Load Diagnostics
Determines whether No Load detection is enabled. No Load detects whether a signal wire is disconnected from one of the RTB terminals or the RTB is removed.
Diagnostics
Opens the Diagnostics dialog, which contains diagnostic information.
