Port Configuration view parameters
The Port Configuration view includes these parameters:
Parameter | Description |

Port | Displays the port to which this configuration applies. For 1783-ETAP3T, ports 1, 2, and the device port are used to connect to the network cable. For 1783-ETAP1T2SFP, ports 1 and 2 are used to connect to optical fiber cables, and the device port is used to connect to the network cable. |
Enable | Indicates that the port is enabled. If cleared, the port is disabled. We recommend disabling the port if the port is not in use and is not attached to a device, and to troubleshoot a suspected unauthorized connection. Not available in offline mode. |
Link Status | Displays the port’s link status as Active or Inactive . |
Auto-Negotiate | Indicates that the port and end-device will auto-negotiate the link speed and duplex mode. If cleared, manually select the desired port speed and duplex mode. This parameter is available for the device port of 1783-ETAP1T2SFP. This parameter is available for ports 1, 2, and the device port of 1783-ETAP3T. Not available in offline mode. |
Speed Selected Speed Current | The operating speed of the port. Speed is blank when the port is not connected and not available when Auto-Negotiate is enabled.Possible speed for ports are:

Duplex Selected Duplex Current | Specifies the duplex mode of the port. The available values for each port are:
Duplex is not available when Auto-Negotiate is enabled. |
Port Diagnostics | Opens the dialog box for diagnostics information. |
SFP Type (1783- ETAP1T2SFP) | Displays the SFP type. The types are: For ports 1 and 2:

Refresh | Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device. |
Set | Sends the settings to the switch. The Enter password dialog box may appear. |
