Parameter
Description
Point
Indicates the number of the point to which the configuration is applied.
Point Operation
Type
Specifies how a pair of points is evaluated. Valid values include:
  • Single
(default). Each point is evaluated individually.
  • Equivalent
. Points are evaluated as a pair (Normally Open/Normally Open or Normally Closed/Normally Closed), based on
    Discrepancy Time
    .
  • Complementary
. Points are evaluated as a pair (Normally Open/Normally Closed or Normally Closed/Normally Open), based on
    Discrepancy Time
    .
Point Operation Type
appears shaded in Run mode or when the project is safety secured.
Point Operation
Discrepancy Time
Specifies the maximum amount of time that a pair of points can be in an inadmissible state before a Status Error is logged. Valid values are from 0 ms through 65530 ms in increments of 10 ms.
Point Operation Discrepancy Time
appears shaded when
Point Operation Type
is set to
Single
, the device is in Run mode, or the project is safety secured.
Point Mode
Specifies a mode for each input point. Possible values include:
  • Not Used
(default). The input is not used.
  • Safety Pulse Test
. The input participates in safety evaluation and has a dependency on a test output pulse.
  • Safety
. The input participates in safety evaluation, but does not have a dependency on a test output, and is used as a semiconductor input.
  • Standard
. The input does not participate in safety evaluation, does not have a dependency on a test output, and is used as a standard input.
For the valid combinations, refer to Valid Point Mode combinations.
Point Mode
appears shaded in Run mode or when the project is safety secured.
Test Source
Specifies the Test Output point used with each input.
  • When
    Point Mode
    is set to
    Safety Pulse Test
    ,
    Test Source
is available and defaults to 0 for even points and 1 for odd points by default.
  • When
    Point Mode
    is set to
    Not Used
    ,
    Safety
    , or
    Standard
    ,
    Test Source
    is set to
    None
    and appears shaded.
Input Delay Time
Off -> On/On -> Off
Specifies the Input Delay Time value for the Off to On or On to Off transitions.
Valid values are from 0 ms through 126 ms in increments of 6 ms with 0 being the default.
Input Delay Time
appears shaded in Run mode or when the project is safety secured.
Input Error Latch Time
Specifies the minimum amount of time a Safety Input or Test Output error is to be latched.
Valid values are from 0 through 65530 in increments of 10. The default value is 1000.
Input Error Latch Time
appears shaded in Run mode or when the project is safety secured.
