Versions and FW Updates

The latest firmware version is 1.002 (as of August 2022). A release history is available from the "SC website”. All FW versions since release are compatible with this Add-on-Profile.

Module Replacement

This module supports RIUP (Removal and Insertion Under Power) from chassis while chassis power is applied. Reconfiguration of the module is not needed when replacing a module. Configuration data is retained in the controller and is sent to the module when the IO connection is established.

NOTE

: Refer to the "Owner’s Guide” for proper procedures and Safety recommendations for RIUP. Arcing could cause an explosion in a hazardous location installation. Performing RIUP while the field-side is powered requires

EXTREME CAUTION. Unintended machine motion or loss of process control can occur
