1734sc-OE2CIH Channel Configuration
Use this tab to configure the Spectrum Controls 1734sc-OE2CIH HART analog output channels.
On this tab, you can:
- enable channel
- enable HART communication
- select output range type
- select scaling
- select a fault action
- select a program action
- enter a fault value
- enter a program value

Enables the channel for the selected channel.
Enable HART Communication checkbox
Enables HART communication for the selected channel.
Range Type
Select the channel's output range.
- 0 mA to 20 mA
- 4 mA to 20 mA
Scaling
Low Engineering
Enter a value in user engineering units to which the Low Signal should be scaled. All values sent to/from the module are in engineering units.
High Engineering
Enter a value in user engineering units to which the High Signal should be scaled. All values sent to/from the module are in engineering units.
Program Action
While the system is idle or in program mode, the user may choose the behavior of the outputs. Low Clamp uses the Low Clamp Value (see below). If clamping has been disabled, this setting is not allowed. High Clamp uses the High Clamp Value (see below). If clamping has been disabled, this setting is not allowed. Hold Last State will lock the outputs to the last known value while ignoring further changes to output words. Program Value uses the value set by the user (see below)

Program Value
This value determines the output during a idle/program condition. The program Value is a signed 16-bit integer. Values may range from 32767 to -32768. It may not exceed the range set by the High/Low Clamp Limits if clamping is enabled.
The Program Value is clipped to the range limits as follows:
- 0-20mA: 0.0mA -> 21.0mA
- 4-20mA: 3.0mA -> 21.0mA
Fault Action
During a fault condition, the user may choose the behavior of the outputs. Low Clamp uses the Low Clamp Value. (see below). If clamping has been disabled, this setting is not allowed. High Clamp uses the High Clamp Value (see below). If clamping has been disabled, this setting is not allowed. If:
- you are online in Program, Remote Program or Remote Run mode and,
- this controller is the owner controller and,
- you have changed the module’s configuration in the software, when you click the Apply or the OK button, the information is automatically sent to the controller. The controller tries to send the information to the module (if the module’s connection is not inhibited). If you don’t click Apply, your changes are not sent to the controller.
