The primary source for detailed information about this module is the Endress+Hauser document, “Promag 400 EtherNet/IP Supplementary Documentation”, available for download from the “Endress+Hauser website”.

The EDS file is used for identifying the module in network tools, such as RSNetWorx or in CIP (refer to “CIP” in Studio 5000 Logix Designer HELP) network browser (e.g. RSLinx Classic RSWho or FactoryTalk Linx Network Browser). The EDS file can be downloaded from the “Endress+Hauser website” and installed using the EDS Hardware Installation Tool. The EDS file is also embedded in the Promag 400 and can be extracted by RSLinx Classic or FactoryTalk Linx.

Certifications for this module normally include CE. Refer to the markings on the transmitter nameplate and to the specifications in the Promag 400 Operating Instructions for more detailed information. Products with a CE mark are approved for installation within the European Union and EEA regions.
