Configure the Safety Task Period and Watchdog

The safety task is a periodic timed task.
To configure the safety task period and watchdog, follow these steps.
  1. In the configuration tree, right-click the safety task.
  2. On the Task Properties dialog box, select the Configuration tab.
  3. Configure the parameters as described in Safety Task.

The priority of the safety task is not a safety concern, as the safety task watchdog monitors if a higher priority task interrupts the task.
