New Routine Dialog Box Overview

Enter the information necessary to create a new routine from this dialog box.

Enter a name for the routine.

Enter a description of the routine.

Select the type of routine from the pull-down menu. Choose from:

Select the program or phase to which the routine will belong.

Select the assignment for the routine: <none>, Main, Fault or Prestate.

Indicates whether the routine is a Standard routine or a Safety routine. This value applies to Safety applications only.

Select this box if you want the routine to open in the appropriate editor once you have created it.

Select this button to accept the information you have entered and create the new routine.
