validates the serial number of the last safety controller that the safety application was deployed to against the serial number of the safety controller you are currently deploying to.

A warning shows when a mismatch of safety controller serial numbers occurs, such as when you deploy a safety application to a new safety controller. You must acknowledge the warning to proceed with deployment.
