Add an existing device

Add an existing device to a Backplane or Ethernet bus to assign its position in the bus.
To add an existing device:
  1. On the explorer bar, select Devices Icon
    Devices
    .
  2. In
    Devices
     explorer, right-click a backplane from the list and then selectAdd device icon
    Add device
    . The
    Add device
     dialog box opens.
  3. In
    Add device
    , select
    From Project
    .
  4. Select a device from the list and then select
    Add
    .
    TIP: Only devices compatible with the bus are shown.
  5. In the
    Overview
     view, select
    OK
    . The device appears under the bus in Devices explorer.
