Why is Automation Fair expanding to four days?
Following the success and momentum of the 2022 Automation Fair event, Rockwell Automation is enhancing the event to provide a more robust experience for our community. We are expanding Automation Fair to four days and integrating the best of ROKLive Americas, PowerPlex, Perspectives and Process Solutions User Group (PSUG) training and collaborative experiences into Automation Fair.
Who should attend Automation Fair?
Automation Fair hosts thousands of problem solvers, makers and innovators shaping the future of manufacturing each year. From C-suite executives to operations management to engineers, Automation Fair provides exciting opportunities for learning and inspiration for all who attend.
When is attendee registration available for Automation Fair?
Registration for Automation Fair is open and will be available through the event dates. Register here to attend the event.
Is there a cost to attend Automation Fair?
With an expanded four-day format and added value, we’re introducing tiered registration fees for Automation Fair. Select the pass that's right for you.
If I attended ROKLive in the past, what Pass should I get?
We recommend former ROKLive Americas attendees select the General Access + Advanced Training Pass. This package includes the type and level of training sessions a ROKLive attendee has experienced in the past.
Is lunch included in the General Access Pass? And is it included for all four days of the event?
Yes, the General Access Pass includes lunch, coffee and snack breaks during all four days of the event.
Are discounted passes available for students/educators?
Yes! Complimentary General Access Passes are available for current Students/Educators. Upon registration, students and educators will be asked to submit documentation of education affiliation. If documentation is not provided or is deemed inadequate, Rockwell Automation, at its sole discretion, will charge the full event rate.
Are discounted passes available for members of the media?
Yes! Rockwell is pleased to provide complimentary General Access passes to members of the media. Please contact the Rockwell Automation Media Relations team prior to visiting the Automation Fair registration website for registration instructions.
Is it possible to only purchase an Advanced Training Pass?
No, you must purchase the General Access Pass + Advanced Training Pass.
Is it possible to purchase a One-Day Pass?
One-day Passes are not available for purchase.
Is it possible to purchase an Expo Only Pass?
Expo Only passes are not available for purchase.
Is it possible to purchase a lower-cost Guest Pass for my colleague/family to join me in the Expo?
Reduced rate guest passes are not available.
What if I register to attend and I need to cancel? Will refunds be given?
Cancellations must be received in writing to email@example.com or processed via the Automation Fair registration website. Upon cancellation, your registration will be cancelled, and your selected sessions will be cleared.
Cancelled registrations will be refunded according to the schedule below. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.
Prior to September 30 = 50% refund
After September 30 = No refund
Please note, you are solely responsible for cancelling your hotel and travel reservations and are responsible for any fees related to hotel/travel cancellation.
Unfortunately, attendee substitutions are not permitted.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Registration Pass?
Yes! You may upgrade and downgrade your registration passes following your initial registration.
To upgrade your pass: Please refer to your confirmation email, click Modify Your Registration, and follow the instructions.
To downgrade your pass from General Access + Advanced Training to General Access only: Please submit a request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will process your request and issue a refund for the difference will be provided. All refunds will be processed within 30 days. Please note: Sessions not available in the General Access pass will be cleared from your schedule.
Is there an age requirement to attend Automation Fair?
Yes, all Automation Fair attendees must be 18 years of age or older to attend the event.

What types of payment will be accepted?
All attendees must register for the event through the Automation Fair registration website. Registration payments are accepted by credit card at the time of registration. No other forms of payments will be accepted.
How can I book a room at one of the Automation Fair event hotels?
You will be able to book your room(s) at an event hotel after you complete your event registration. You can access hotel booking by clicking on the “Book Room” link on the registration confirmation page or from the link in your registration confirmation email.
Is a credit card required to make a hotel reservation?
When you request a hotel reservation through Automation Fair Housing, you will be required to provide a credit card to guarantee your room. All hotel room fees are the responsibility of the attendee.

Automation Fair hotel costs vary by property and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Event hotel information can be found here.
I need to cancel my hotel reservation – how do I do that?

When will the Expo be open?
The Expo will be open on Wednesday, November 8, and Thursday, November 9, during Automation Fair.
Sessions and Training
Will there be changes to the learning opportunities offered at Automation Fair?
New for 2023, we will offer even more training and learning opportunities across all four days of Automation Fair, including keynotes, panel discussions with industry and thought leaders, partner- and customer- led sessions, new product introductions, product and technology training sessions and hands-on labs.
What types of sessions will be offered at Automation Fair?
By expanding the event to four days, we’re able to double the amount of learning opportunities. Learn more.
Will sessions be offered more than once?
The session schedule is configured to allow you the opportunity to attend as many sessions as possible over four days. Most sessions hosted on Monday are offered on Wednesday, and most sessions hosted on Tuesday are offered on Thursday. Some sessions, such as Industry Forums, Panels and Customer-led sessions, may only be offered once.
When will I be able to select sessions?
You may sign up for sessions immediately following completion of your event registration.
Will I be able to see what sessions are offered in the General Access Pass and the Advanced Training Pass before I register to attend?
Yes, the session catalog is available and you can view the full session offering prior to deciding which registration pass fits your specific needs.
Can I earn Professional Development Hour credits at Automation Fair?
Yes! You can earn Professional Development Hours by attending designated sessions and labs.
Please note, Professional Development Hour credits are valid in the United States and Canada.
All sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions have limited capacity and require registration via the Session Catalog. General Access registration fees will not be refunded due to session availability.
Some of our most popular sessions may offer the opportunity to join a waitlist. To join a session waitlist, select the waitlist option in the Session Catalog.
When you join a session waitlist, you will NOT be able to register for any other sessions during that time. If a seat becomes available in a waitlisted session, you will be automatically registered for the waitlisted session and an email notification will follow soon after.
What are the Summits?
New this year, the Automation Fair Summits are half-day experiences that bring together like-minded individuals for idea sharing, problem solving and community building. You will gain exclusive access to keynote speakers and subject matter experts, collaborate in roundtable sessions, and choose to attend topical breakouts not available in the general Automation Fair session course catalog. You are also invited to enjoy networking over lunch and at an evening hospitality event.

Four summits are offered, and you are welcome to attend the one most relevant to you. The Summits are included in the General Access Pass.
Process Solutions User Group (PSUG) Summit: Powered by peer learning, executive panel discussions, and ask-the-expert sessions, this summit is tailored to the process automation community.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Net-Zero Now Summit: By looking at new solutions and strategizing around energy, water, and waste, this summit helps attendees with ESG on the mind.
Plex Customer Summit: For those who rely on the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform to optimize their business, reconnect with your peers in this summit featuring interactive breakout sessions and real-world examples of Plex in action.
OEM Leader to Leader Summit: Leaders from machine and equipment builder companies will come together in this summit that focuses on delivering value to industrial end users with speed, agility, and innovation while beating challenges like workforce shortages, supply chain disruption, and shortened project turnaround times.
Is there an additional cost to attend a Summit?
Summits are included with the General Access Pass. There is no additional cost to attend a Summit.
Can I sign up to attend more than one summit?
You may only sign up to attend one summit.
Can I sign up to attend a portion of a summit, and not the full half-day?
You are not able to sign up for a portion of a summit. Your summit registration includes all activities for that half day summit.

Will you still offer PSUG (Process Solutions User Group) at Automation Fair?
Automation Fair welcomes the Process Solutions User Group again this year, as in years past. We are curating an experience designed specifically for this group, including a half-day Process Solutions User Group Summit, keynote sessions, breakout sessions, networking, and guided tours of the Expo. Process-focused technical training and labs will be offered with the Advanced Training Pass.
Why is ROKLive Americas combining with Automation Fair?
Combining these events will allow us to deliver an unprecedented experience. We will be able to provide you with even more enhanced training and learning opportunities, the immersive technology experience of the Expo, and one-on-one interaction and networking with technology experts and industry leaders - all in one event.

Automation Fair is excited to welcome Plex customers to this year's event.
