PT10 - Solution to Burner Management Applications
General Access Pass

Several OEM customers produce burner systems as their primary product or as part of the equipment they build. These OEMs have looked to Rockwell Automation to provide an alternative to the third-party products used to manage the safety portion of burner control, or Burner Management System (BMS). Our OEM customers would like the same platform used for overall equipment control to be used for BMS without the need for third-party control hardware. A set of Safety Add-On Instructions targeting BMS applications has been created for this reason. This Add-On Instruction set is flexible enough to meet the needs of most OEM burner applications, and is easy to implement. To best serve our OEM customers, the BMS library provided carries suitable certification, such that the OEM's effort to achieve necessary certification for their final systems is reduced.
