High Availability overview
FactoryTalk® Optix™
High Availability
runs a project on a three-node cluster instead of a single
device. If the active node fails, the cluster automatically fails over to a standby node.
Clients always connect to one Virtual IP (VIP) address, regardless of which physical machine
runs the project. This guide covers installing, configuring, and uninstalling a High Availability (HA) cluster.
