Configure runtime as a service

Install and configure FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools to launch
FactoryTalk Optix Applications
 in the runtime-as-a-service mode.
  1. During the FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools installation:
    1. Select
      Customize
      .
    2. Expand
      FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools
      VERSION
      ,
      where
      VERSION
       is the FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools version.
    3. Select
      Run FactoryTalk Optix as a Service
      .
    TIP: To change the runtime mode between the default runtime-application mode and runtime-as-a-service mode, you need to reinstall FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools.

  2. Deploy the application to the target device in the runtime-as-a-service mode.
