IUAVariable.SetDynamicLinkToAlias(aliasName, path)

Set a dynamic link from a variable to a child or nested node inside an alias. The link mode defaults to Read.
void SetDynamicLinkToAlias(string aliasName, string[] path);

Arguments

aliasName
 (string)
The
BrowseName
 of the Alias.
path
An array of strings specifying the path to a child or nested node inside the alias.

Example

Link a variable to a nested path inside an alias in the default Read mode:
[ExportMethod]
public void CreateDynamicLinkToNestedAlias()
{
    // Get the Text variable of a Label
    var myVariable = Owner.GetVariable("Label1/Text");
    // Link to {MotorAlias}/Configuration/MaxSpeed in Read mode (default)
    myVariable.SetDynamicLinkToAlias("MotorAlias", new string[] { "Configuration", "MaxSpeed" });
