Dock an object

Anchor objects in the container by docking the object. Dock objects on any side of the container while maintaining margins, in the center while resetting margins, or stretch objects across a container.
  1. In
    Project view
    , double-click a container or select
    Editor icon
    .
    The editor opens in a separate tab.
  2. In the editor, select the objects to dock.
    TIP: To select multiple objects, hold down
    Ctrl
     and select multiple objects.
  3. In the editor toolbar, select the button to dock the object:
    • Dock left icon
      Dock left
      . Anchor the selected objects the left while maintaining margins.
    • Dock right icon
      Dock right
      . Anchor the selected objects on the right while maintaining margins.
    • Dock top icon
      Dock top
      . Anchor the selected objects at the top while maintaining margins.
    • Dock bottom icon
      Dock bottom
      . Anchor the selected objects at the bottom while maintaining margins.
    • Dock center icon
      Dock center
      . Anchor the selected objects vertically while centering the objects and resetting margins.
    • Dock center icon
      Dock center
      . Anchor the selected objects horizontally while centering the objects and resetting margins.
    • Dock left and right icon
      Dock left and right
      . Stretch the selected objects horizontally across the container.
    • Dock top and bottom
      Dock top and bottom
      . Stretch the selected objects vertically across the container.
