Overview

This course is designed to assist in building a solid foundation of PowerFlex® drive skills, terminology, and concepts. Topics in this course include:

  • Key features of PowerFlex 4M, 520-Series, 750-Series, and 755T drives
  • Safety functions
  • Configuration of PowerFlex 520-Series and 750-Series drives
  • Load braking
  • Basic commissioning

You will also be shown how to:

  • Identify ports and parameters
  • Read and write parameters using a HIM, Connected Components Workbench™ software, and Studio 5000 Logix Designer® software
  • Set the IP address on a drive
  • Establish datalinks for drives
  • Add drives to a Studio 5000 Logix Designer Project
  • Configure trends
