PLLS motor status

Use the
Motor status 1 -15
and
Motor status 16 - 30
tabs on the
PLLS Properties
dialog box to monitor motors in the group for Process Lead Lag Standby Motor Group (PLLS) instructions.
To monitor motor status for PLLS instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Under the
    General
    tab, select
    Motor status 1-15
    or
    Motor status 16-30
    .
  3. Select these Operator/Maintenance commands when online with the controller.
    The action is immediate if the command request does not need to be confirmed by the operator. If the command request requires a signature, this will enforce security from the HMI and disable the command from the Logix Designer dialog.
    • Rotate
      . Rotate the list of motors, demoting the lead and promoting the others.
  4. Monitor these parameters:
    • Demand
      . The current motor demand for the motor group.
    • Number of motors in this group
      . The total number of motors in the motor group.
    • Motor number
      . The motor number for the motor ranked at this position in the list.
    • Motor status
      . The current status of the motor.
    • Motor availability
      . Indicates if the motor is currently available.
    • Device state
      . Displays the current device state:
      • None
      • Stopped
      • Running
      • Stopping
      • Decreasing
      • Increasing
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions:
      • None
      • Configuration error
      • Fail to start
      • Fail to stop
