dialog box to monitor motors in the group for Process Lead Lag Standby Motor Group (PLLS) instructions.To monitor motor status for PLLS instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select
.
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Under theGeneraltab, selectMotor status 1-15orMotor status 16-30.
- Select these Operator/Maintenance commands when online with the controller.The action is immediate if the command request does not need to be confirmed by the operator. If the command request requires a signature, this will enforce security from the HMI and disable the command from the Logix Designer dialog.
- Rotate. Rotate the list of motors, demoting the lead and promoting the others.
- Monitor these parameters:
- Demand. The current motor demand for the motor group.
- Number of motors in this group. The total number of motors in the motor group.
- Motor number. The motor number for the motor ranked at this position in the list.
- Motor status. The current status of the motor.
- Motor availability. Indicates if the motor is currently available.
- Device state. Displays the current device state:
- None
- Stopped
- Running
- Stopping
- Decreasing
- Increasing
- Device issues. Displays fault conditions:
- None
- Configuration error
- Fail to start
- Fail to stop
